Opportunity | Duty Description
SALES REPRESENTATIVES: 1 Ondangwa 1 Rundu
Purpose of position:
To manage a vast range of fast moving consumer goods for the company. To increase sales in the company and manage costs that may occur to create higher margins.
Key Accountabilities:
- To achieve and exceed agreed sales targets in existing product lines and keeps or improves sales & merchandising standards laid down by principal.
- Negotiates profitable deals on existing and new product lines with buyers at shops.
- Negotiates discounts, shelf space, promotions and gondolas.
- Ensure that merchandisers are motivated and does training when needed.
- Organises promotions by doing requirement negotiations.
- Sorts, verifies and submit claims to expedite process. Recommends reversals as required.
- Ensure that stock rotation principles are adhered to.
- Ensure products are correctly displayed at point of sale.

Qualifications, Experience and skills:
- Grade 12 and three years’ experience in FMCG, or a diploma in Sales and Marketing.
- Be between 21 and 35 years of age.
- Fluency in Afrikaans and English
- Proficiency in an indigenous language will be a definite advantage.
- Be able to handle pressure and conflict situations.
- Have good communication skills.
- Have a basic understanding and working knowledge of Sales Maths.
- Reliable own transport, as extensive travelling is required.
- Valid passport and police clearance certificate.
- Valid Drivers’ License (Code 08)
- Namibia Citizenship
