 FLATBED DRIVER X 1 (LOCAL) – CONTAINER DEPARTMENT
WALVIS BAY DEPOT

Opportunity | Duty Requirement(s)

The position’s key performance areas are:
 

• Transport and timeous delivery of containers and breakbulk to various customers within the borders of Namibia and submitting complete documentation upon return.
• Pick-up containers and breakbulk from various customers and deliver the same without damages and correct documents to destination as instructed.
• Pre-trip inspections of vehicle and equipment.

Added Advantages | Special Requirement(s)

The suitable candidate will meet the following requirements:
 

• Namibian Citizen with a valid, (Code CE) driver’s license and valid PDP (Dangerous Goods).
• Grade 12 with a minimum of 5 year’s relevant experience in the transport industry.
• Police Clearance (not older than 3 months) – No criminal record.
• Hazchem Certification will be an added advantage.
• Must have excellent driving, interpersonal and communication skills (English and Afrikaans).
• Must have high attention to detail.
• Must have sober habits.
